Continuing the tradition, the SPRING GARDEN AND PLANT FESTIVAL will take place in the spring of 2025!
On April 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Bulduri, in the park of Bulduri Technical School, Viestura Street 6, Jūrmala.
On this day, there will also be an Open Doors Day (from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) for prospective students!
AT THE EVENT:
Throughout the event, there will be opportunities to purchase a variety of products from artisans, farmers, and skilled craftsmen at the park market.
During the festival, there will be opportunities to participate in demonstrations where Bulduri Technical School instructors will provide consultations on spring gardening tasks, plant growing and care – including planting and caring for fruit trees and berry bushes, as well as caring for roses and ornamental shrubs. There will be a floral workshop for the youngest visitors to engage in finger dexterity activities.
Visitors can participate in entertaining activities for both children and adults, such as playing oversized wooden games for skill and problem-solving. With arborist equipment and supervision, attendees can climb a tree and build a tower from boxes in the “Who Can Go Higher?” challenge.
Younger guests will be delighted by rabbits, a goat, and a kid. There will also be opportunities to go for a pony ride and participate in a creative workshop.
Dance performances and other entertainment will take place throughout the day. The event will be held in the school’s dendrological park, where visitors can explore dendrological rarities that have found a permanent home in the historic park for over a hundred years.
Admission to the event is free!
